After a magical five-hour journey from our Riad in #Marrakech, you’ll discover ancient Roman triumphal arches, intricate mosaic floors, breathtaking sunsets, and other remarkable remnants of a genuine #Roman town.

#Volubilis, a mid-northern Moroccan town located near imperial cities like #Fez and #Meknes, thrived during the Roman Empire (25 B.C.). Even today, parts of the site are still standing as steadfast as a rock.

Interestingly, it was referred to as the ‘Las Vegas’ of its time, making us wonder what all was happening in ancient Vegas... 🤔👀

While you’re there, we highly recommend extending your journey to the imperial city of #Fez, also known as Morocco’s jewel, holding a prominent place in Moroccan history, culture, architecture. Fez is only an hour and a half away from Volubilis.
